DAY 1 - Early evening drinks, briefing & eBike fitting followed by dinner.
DAY 2 | Cortona to Montone | Four Castles, the Valley & a Vineyard – Begin with stunning views across Tuscany as you journey towards the border with Umbria. Wend your way through the Niccone Valley, steeped in history, modern and ancient. Lunch at the Gritti vineyard followed by a riverside journey along the River Tiber, to arrive at medieval Montone, and a spectacular celebrity chef dinner. DAY 3 | Montone to Gubbio | A Day of Contrast – Pay homage to the Italy’s brave WWII partigiani ( resistance fighters ) in Pietralunga, where we lunch in the piazza trattoria. Following the trail of St. Francis of Assisi with its rolling vistas, leads us to an unforgettable arrival into Gubbio. DAY 4 | Gubbio to Assisi | Italy’s Backbone – Breakfast on the terrace, then ride towards the dramatic Apennine mountains where again, we join along with St. Francis of Assisi because today, we arrive in his home town but not before experiencing an unforgettable private lunch of typical Umbrian dishes and eventually our arrival into Assisi.
