An easy to navigate itinerary through some of Tuscany's very best scenery, guided by the latest Garmin cycling GPS. 90% of the itinerary is easy. There two climbs that you might consider moderate. You can choose the full itinerary at around 157 miles or take the short route at 110 miles. Stay in wonderful three and four star accommodation, one with pool and sauna. Carry with you what you need for the day, as your luggage is transferred for you from hotel to hotel.

DAY 1 – Cortona – Your arrival at Villa di Piazzano is to your week, what the nose is to a great wine! STATS: | Highlights: Under the Tuscan Sunset and the medieval streets of Cortona |
DAY 2 – Cortona to San Quirico d'Orcia – From the shadows of Cortona, known as the Balcony of Tuscany, you journey west towards the super Tuscan vines of the Montepulciano. After lunch, the ride to San Quirico takes you through classical Tuscan scenery will stay with you as a life long memory. DAY 3 – San Quirico d'Orcia-Pienza-Bagano Vignoni-Montalcino-San Quirico d'Orcia – Head towards Pienza and watch the views unfold. Around these parts is where they filmed scenes from Gladiator. Stop at the spa village of Bagno Vignoni, for a coffee. Then roll through this classic Tuscan countryside towards Montalcino. DAY 4 – San Quirico d'Orcia-San Giovanni d'Asso-Asciano/Siena – Your day begins with a long glide down-hill, to begin a gentle days cycling through a gradually changing countryside. DAY 6 – Cappuccino & Cortona – Take a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. If time allows, take drop into Cortona and take a final coffee while drinking in the view from the Balcony of Tuscany.
